Kanade “Kana” Ooe, Chihayafuru

If Megumi from Food Wars played competitive cards instead of cooked, she would be this lovely girl right here. Sweet, compassionate and proper, Kana joins the club because she wants to wear a hakama. She loves the classy elegance of older traditions, as well as the potential meanings and stories behind each poem. Unlike all the other competitors, Kana aims to not play karuta, but to earn the necessary qualifications to become a karuta reader.

She is my precious lil bean.
