If you read my post Branching Out, you know I was considering adding some mental health stuff to this blog. And, in case the title didn’t give it away, I decided to go for it! I’ve reorganized the blog and all the anime content can be found under the Annie-Me tab.
I’ve been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and insomnia for five years now, but I showed symptoms before then. Sometimes it’s a racing pulse and jitters, other times it’s just that I can’t rest or am just on edge. I have a lot of coping strategies I use, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grounding techniques and distracting activities. Tons. This is just one of those: my calming YouTube videos playlist.
I’ll put these videos on to help relax and it usually works. It includes a lot of craftsmen, some general documentary-ish things, and readings. I hope it can help you, too.
